WEDDING MAKEUP

I’m a huge believer in incorporating your personal style into your wedding and your makeup - maybe you are a huge fan of minimalist makeup and fresh skin; perhaps you’re a big fan of warm rich bronzey tones on the eyes and cheeks, or maybe you want to look like you are about to step onto a red carpet - Whatever style of makeup that you choose, its so important to me that you feel beautiful and feel like your authentic self on your wedding day.

Natural bridal makeup is obviously something I absolutely love, but I also love soft glam makeup and it’s always so much fun to do full glam makeup too. I’m a complete magpie for glitter eyeshadows and I love it when someone asks for something a bit left field or creative, so please don’t be too shy to ask!

Non-Makeup Wearers - If you have never had your makeup done by a professional makeup artist before, or if you wear very little or no makeup at all and are feeling a wee bit nervous about having bridal makeup done, then you are in safe hands! I do makeup for non-makeup wearers all the time and I will work with you to create a makeup look that will look beautiful but still feel lightweight on your skin and make you feel like yourself.

Different Makeup Styles - If all of the members of your bridal party love different styles of makeup, and you are finding it hard to find someone who can keep everyone’s makeup tastes happy then do not worry - I can create whichever style of makeup they like, that will make them look and feel like the best version of themselves.

My approach to bridal makeup is quite simple - I create makeup looks for each individual person that makes them look and feel beautiful, comfortable and confident. I like to cater to each individuals tastes and desires, no one wants to look like a carbon copy of anyone else - you want to look like the best version of you!

There are two really important things that I like to do when I am working - Creating safe, relaxing spaces when I’m doing makeup; and creating great relationships with the people I make up. Both of these elements are really important to me because they really help you to relax and trust me to create the wedding makeup of your dreams!

Your hour in the makeup chair will be the most relaxing hour of the whole wedding day. I know how unpredictable a wedding morning can potentially be, so I’m here to help you navigate the first part of your wedding day with creativity, kindness, good humour, great energy and a willingness to help out.

I want you to relax, I want you to hang out with your favourite people, and most of all, have fun! I love meeting you, your friends and family, having fun on a wedding morning and just making you all look and feel like absolute babes!

I’ve been lucky enough to be a Makeup Artist for 15 years and in that time I have been trusted to help 100’s (maybe 1000’s by this point) of brides get ready for their wedding day, and I absolutely love it!

Being a makeup artist allows me to combine loads of my best skills - I love meeting new people and I love giving people confidence with my makeup skills and great chat. I’m also very creative and have a great knack for problem solving - I’ve buttoned up more wedding dresses than I can count, I’m a dab hand at fixing straps with a bit of body-tape, I’ve even helped some pugs get into their wedding outfits (very cute but very wriggly!), all while having that handy wee pair of scissors to snip off off tags - I’ve been there and done that through the years to help brides at the most exciting and nerve wracking times.

I travel all over for weddings, and when I say all over, I mean everywhere! I will travel by car, plane, ferry etc to get to wherever you are getting married, there is no journey too far and I absolutely love a wedding road trip!.
